She completed the Comprehensive Holistic Nurse and Nurse Coach program in 2021 and is board certified with the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation as a Holistic Wellness Nurse Coach. Janet has been a student advisor and then Lead advisor with the CIINDE (Canadian Institute of Integrative Nursing Development & Education) since the early days of the program.

This webinar provides an example of how to integrate CIM’s into independent nursing practice focusing on Bowen therapy as the primary modality, and how through a holistic nursing lens we can serve the community from newborns to end of life using this approach.
The seminar will include a general overview of the services of Bowen Pain Clinic with examples of how, when and who can benefit. An in-depth description of Bowen therapy including how it can be integrated into a holistic nursing practice will be presented.
Janet will provide an overview of the training program for certification as a Bowenwork® practitioner, as well as an overview of Building Bowen Business for Nurses, a program that includes education, resources and support for the nursing wishing to establish an independent practice or include Bowen therapy into an existing role.

Janet’s independent practice includes Bowen therapy, energy therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, endocannabinoid assessment, cannabis education and nurse coaching. As a senior instructor with the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia she teaches nurses and allied health care professionals certification as a Bowenwork® practitioner as well as post certification courses to enhance the knowledge and application of this approach to wellness. Building Bowen Business for Nurses is a program offered by Janet that offers education, resources and support for the nurse wishing to establish an independent practice after completing the Bowenwork® certification program. She lives and works in the beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario.
