MTAS members are cordially invited to the next College of Medicine Integrative Medicine Seminar Series (CIM) on January 23rd AT 12 noon at RUH Sasktel Lecture Theatre in the Main Mall.

 

Topic is WHOLE Care: A Framework for Integrative Health Education and Assessment. 
Karen Scott Barss is the speaker and she is Faculty, School of Nursing, Saskatchewan Polytechnic and Adjunct Professor, University of Regina.

 

Learners are expected to gain the following competencies:

  • Apply the principles of a comprehensive model to assess the multidimensional healing needs of patients.
  • Describe options for safely blending evidence-informed multi-factorial interventions.
  • Discuss the importance of health care providers own self-care wellness practices.
